The domain name Slothster.com was purchased brand new on January 25th, 2010 , and after several months of coding and testing, the website went public and was launched on May 1st, 2010 as Beta Version 1.0 . Originally, the website was coded for flash games and for a few videos. I decided early on I would try to add several different kinds of flash games and different kinds of videos and let the members, fans, and visitors decide which direction to take things. Work on coding continued, and Slothster Version 1.0 was eventually rolled out with several new features added and a faster user experience when suddenly, something happened that would clearly tell me what everyone wanted and would change Slothster.com into the awesome website it is today:

The above video went viral and people let me know they wanted more animal and pet videos. I slowly started removing videos that weren't animal or pet related and removing flash games that simply wouldn't work or were being complained about. After several polls were taken on Slothster.com , Facebook, and Twitter, it was decided by the visitors, fans, and members to make Slothster.com purely about the animals.

Slothster Version 2.0 started rolling out on March 15th, 2013 with only videos and pictures related to animals and pets along with changes in the overall look of the website. There will be several new features that I will be adding that you will enjoy, so be sure to check back often for updates!
